Venmo QR Code Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Open your smartphone camera and point it at the QR code.

Step 2: Tap the link that appears to open the Venmo App.

Step 3: Enter your donation amount.

Step 4: Tap the "What's this for?" note section and type your designation (e.g., Tithes, Communion, Food Pantry, General Donation).

Step 5: Tap Pay.

Viewing this on your phone? Take a screenshot and open it in your photo gallery to scan the code.

Do Not Send Cash: For security, it is highly advised to never send cash through the mail.

Checks Only: Please make checks payable to VUMC and write your designation (e.g., Tithes, Communion Offering, Food Pantry) on the memo line.

During the Sunday 11:00 AM worship service:

Cash Donations: Please use the offering envelopes located in every pew.

Designate Your Gift: Write on the envelope where you would like your offering to go (e.g., Tithes, Communion Offering, Food Pantry, etc.).

Tax Records: Write your full name on the envelope. The finance chair will keep a record of your donations. This allows us to provide you with a giving summary at the end of the year for your tax records, upon your request.

Collection Time: Offerings will be collected during the church service.

Communion Giving: You may place communion offerings directly on the altar during communion.
