Food Pantry

The Food Pantry Ministry of Vancleave United Methodist Church serves our community by providing food assistance to individuals and families in need. In partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast, we help share God's love through nourishment, compassion, and hope. As followers of Christ, we are committed to serving our neighbors with dignity, kindness, and grace. 

Unloading Days: 

This takes place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month when our food delivery truck arrives. Volunteers help unload, sort, and organize food times in preparation for packing and distribution.

Because delivery times vary, volunteers are notified when the truck is in transit and provided with an estimated arrival time. 

Packing Days: 

We prepare food boxes for our twice-monthly (1st and 3rd Friday) food pantry distribution on the Thursday before distribution day. Volunteers work together to sort, organize, and pack food items for individuals and families in need throughout our community. No special skills are required, just a willing heart and a desire to serve others.

Distribution Days:  

Food boxes are provided on the first and third Fridays of each month to individuals and families in need within our community. Volunteers assist with greeting guests, distributing food, and sharing God's love through acts of kindness and service. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors and support those facing food insecurity. 

Those in Need:

Please enter the church property through the south parking lot entrance on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Please use the ramp entrance and the door closest to the YMCA for access to the food pantry.
